Imee Marcos vows to support ‘Posthumous National Artist’ award for Eddie Garcia

Senator-elect Imee Marcos, who also had her share of showbiz experience paid her respect to the late veteran actor Eddie Garcia.

Marcos remembered a story about how she met Garcia in Malacanang.

Her father, former President Ferdinand Marcos, took a while before finally meeting Garcia in his office.

When asked if she would also lobby for Garcia’s national artist award, Marcos said it has been long overdue.

“Obvious naman sa dami niyang ginawa. Delayed nga lang sorry. Akala natin lagi lang nandiyan si Eddie Garcia,” Marcos said.
