San Juan City, Philippines– Former Senator Jinggoy Estrada says he is willing to work with his half brother JV Ejercito should they both win a Senate seat.
Speaking to reporters after he casts his vote at Xavier School in San Juan, Estrada says they are not on speaking terms.
“Sa ngayon we don’t talk. Pero I voted for him” he said. He is also confidate that he will succeed in making a Senate comeback.
“At this rate I think I am going to make it” Estrada explained. This is also the first time Estrada voted outside detention. “Ang saya lang sa pakiramdam na wala akong kasamang police escorts ngayon pamilya na” Estrada said.
The former senator was convicted after his alleged involvement in the multi-billion peso pork barrel scam.
Meanwhile his half brother Ejercito is optimistic that he can make it in the winning circle after the latest Pulse Asia survey shows that he is at 9-15th places.
“Hoping and optimistic naman ako kasi mukhang maganda naman yung momentum ko going to the last month I believe I finish strong” Ejercito explained .
