Controversial actor Baron Geisler has returned to television a year after he got arrested for engaging in a bloody brawl with his brother-in-law.
Geisler has joined the cast of the long-time running action-drama series “Ang Probinsyano” and took the role of the new antagonist named Dante.
He first appeared on the said show on April 25 and his character was seen robbing a bank and shooting several people.
After he made his debut on the show, Geisler took to Instagram to express his gratitude. He also referred to his showbiz return as an “answered prayer”.
“Grateful for this opportunity to do what I love. Answered prayer. Thank You, Lord!” he said.
Geisler also thanked Dreamscape Productions, Star Magic, and the show itself for helping him return to appearing on television.
Last year, he was arrested after he had a violent fight with his brother-in-law. He has requested to entered rehab in Cebu since then.
He has also been involved in several controversies due to his alcoholism. However, he already said that he is a changed man and has developed a new-found faith.
