UAE nationals living in Dubai, as well as residents with chronic disease and people who have disabilities may now avail of the first shipment of the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine.
On Twitter, the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said people can call their hotline – 800 342. They will be asked to select ‘vaccine appointments’.
The designated area for this group is the One Central Vaccination Center, which is located at the Dubai World Trade Center on Sheikh Zayed Road.
For frontliners and vital sector workers, their appointments will be scheduled in coordination with DHA and the relevant organizations. Their designated area is the DHA Vaccination Field Center.
Vaccines from AstraZeneca will later be available for individuals from the age of 18 to 60 years old.
The first batch of its shipment arrived last February 2.
