A newborn baby girl was abandoned inside the women’s washroom at Al Jahli Park in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi last Wednesday.
A woman found the baby and informed Abu Dhabi Police.
The baby has been transferred to a hospital for necessary medical checkups.
Some photos and a video of the child were circulating on a social media platform, according to some netizens who sent them to TFT.
The baby, who was wrapped in a blanket when found, was initially identified to be of Asian descent based on facial features.
Investigation is underway to determine the parents of the baby.
