GDRFA Dubai announces working hours during Eid Al Fitr

While the rest of the UAE government offices will be closed starting tomorrow, June 14 and resume either on Sunday or Monday for Eid Al Fitr, the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) will not.

This was learned from GDRFA Director General, H.E. Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri who, in an advisory issued on June 12, Tuesday, said “GDRFA Dubai is keen to facilitate the procedures of customers throughout the year and intensify its activities during the various official events.”

He added: “The employees of GDRFA Dubai will continue to receive customer’s transactions during Eid in order to provide the best services to achieve happiness for people.”

According to the GDRFA advisory, the government agency’s Customer Happiness Center at Al Manarah Center, Al Tawar New Center and Al Hatta will operate from Thursday (June 14), the 29th Ramadan and Sunday, June 17 – except Friday and Saturday from 9am to 1pm, while the external center at Dubai International Airport at Terminal 3 will be open 24 hours all throughout the week.

Director General Al Marri presented Eid greetings to His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and their brothers, members of the Supreme Council Rulers of the UAE, and the people of the UAE, on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.
