President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the graduation ceremony of the 50th batch of officer cadets and the first batch of university officer cadets at Zayed II Military College in Al Ain.
During the ceremony, Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the graduates and wished them success as they begin their military careers in service of the nation. He encouraged them to contribute to the UAE’s continued development and to uphold the country’s deeply rooted values of stability, peace, and humanitarian commitment at both regional and international levels.
The President also expressed his appreciation to the college’s command, faculty, and staff for their dedication, highlighting the vital role of military colleges in preparing highly qualified personnel for the UAE Armed Forces through a balance of theoretical education and practical training.
The ceremony opened with the UAE national anthem, followed by a military parade and a speech by the college commander. Sheikh Mohamed honoured outstanding graduates before the cadets took their official oath. The event concluded with commemorative photographs alongside the President.
The graduation was attended by several senior leaders and officials, including Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence; Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in Al Ain Region; Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior; along with other members of the ruling families, senior civilian and military officials, and the graduates’ families.
