The Philippine Consulate General has announced that it has opened its services to the public starting April 26.
In an announcement released on its Facebook post, the Consulate said that it will resume its operations and offer its consular services to Filipinos, provided that everyone must get an appointment before going.
The decision follows Dubai’s “Guidelines and Protocols for Reopening of Establishments” issued on April 23, which states the restrictions on the number of people inside an establishment.
The Consulate said it will strictly enforce its “No Appointment, No Service Policy.”
Those who would like to book an appointment for the following civil registration services are advised to visit the following links:
- Report of birth – dubaipcg.dfa.gov.ph/application-for-report-of-birth
- Report of marriage – dubaipcg.dfa.gov.ph/application-for-report-of-marriage
- Legal capacity to contract marriage/solemnization of marriage at the Consulate – dubaipcg.dfa.gov.ph/application-for-marriage-license-certificate-of-legal-capacity-to-contract-marriage
Meanwhile, those who want to avail their services regarding report of death and repatriation of remains do not need to book an appointment, and that may visit the Consulate’s website for complete requirements, and submit them during Consular business hours.
The visa application, however, will remain suspended as per the Proclamation 929 declaring a State of Calamity throughout the Philippines due to coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Filipinos requiring immediate assistance are advised to send a message to the Consulate’s hotline (056 501 5755/056 501 5756) and WhatsApp numbers (056 417 7558).
