Abu Dhabi Crown Prince pays tribute to doctors in China who died in the fight against COVID-19

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces paid respects to the heroic doctors in China who gave their lives in the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). 
 
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince also wrote his tweet in Chinese characters to pay tribute to them.

“Today we pay our respects as China memorializes the heroic doctors who have their lives in the fight against COVID-19. In honor of all doctors around the world making the ultimate sacrifice, we will confront this challenge with determination, sheer will, & a spirit of solidarity,” His Highness tweeted in three languages, including Chinese.


Chinese President Xi Jinping led other Chinese leaders on Saturday to attend the national mourning for martyrs who died fighting the COVID-19 and compatriots who lost their lives in the outbreak, says a report by Xinhua News Agency.

The Chinese officials stood in silence in the Zhongnanhai leadership compound in Beijing, where the commemoration lasted for three minutes.
