His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has directed the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi to establish more drive-thru coronavirus disease (COVID-19) drive-thru test center across the UAE.
Following the opening of the first rapid test center in Abu Dhabi, His Highness ordered the opening of six more test center to hasten the response of the UAE against the coronavirus pandemic.
The drive-thru center utilizes the latest medical technology which can screen hundreds of people every day without contact with health workers.

Abu Dhabi Media Office in a tweet said more testing centers will be opened within 10 days in Dubai, Sharjah (to also serve Ajman and Umm al Quwain), Ras Al Khaimah, Al Fujairah, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra to provide rapid response test for citizens and residents.
Further information regarding the contact details of the new test centers and appointment procedures will be announced.
“The expansion reflects the leadership’s commitment to providing all citizens and residents with the facilities needed to combat COVID-19 and curb its spread,” Abu Dhabi media Office tweeted.
