Metro Manila Development Authority or MMDA General Manager Jojo Garcia is the latest official to test positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Garcia revealed that he tested positive for the virus on his Facebook account.

“My work puts me under a lot of risk, and this is part of it. I embrace this challenge with full trust and faith in God that I will overcome the same with your prayers,” Garcia said in his statement.
In his interview, Garcia said that he was exposed to a person who tested positive for COVID-19 when he was in a meeting some time on March 2020.
