Iza Calzado tests postive for COVID-19

Actress Iza Calzado has received confirmation that she tested positive for coronavirus disease or COVID-19. 

“Dear family and friends Iza Calzado received her results yesterday, and she tested positive for COVID-19,” Iza’s manager Noel Ferrer shared on Instagram. 

Ferrer said that Iza has been aggressively treated for pneumonia and the virus and can now breathe without oxygen assistance

The talent manager added that Iza will be tested again to see if she would yield negative results now.

Iza’s husband, Ben, and those she came into contact with have not manifested any symptoms for the virus.  The actress said that she does not know where could’ve she gotten the virus.

“Let’s take seriously the advice of doctors and health authorities on proper hygiene, physical distancing, quarantine and social responsibility,” Ferrer said. 

Ferre also urged everyone to pray for the actress and to all the frontliners amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
