Three COVID-19 patients attempt to escape quarantine

A woman in San Juan allegedly attempted to escape authorities on Thursday after finding out that she was positive from the virus.
Eastern Police District Chief Jaime Santos said the woman escaped police escorts from San Juan and went to her car.
They chased the woman until she reached a hospital in Quezon City. The police negotiated with the woman for two hours and she was later on admitted to her preferred hospital.
The police officers who escorted her will undergo a 14-day quarantine.
Two patients under investigation escaped a quarantine area in Sarangani Province.
Police report said the two persons went to Davao and wanted to go to Japan.
The police launched a manhunt and were able to track them in a hotel in the city on Friday.
The PNP reported that the siblings are now confined in the isolation facility of Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao City.
