Kuwait has announced Thursday the recovery of a patient that tested positive of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
According to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), Sheikh Dr. Basel Al-Sabah, the country’s minister of health, said tests were carried out on the 34-year-old patient. The results showed that he is now free from COVID-19.
He is set to be discharged today following further pending medical tests and check-ups.
There are a total of 58 confirmed cases in the country, as of this writing.
