Mongolia’s President Battulga Khaltmaa along with his other officials have subjected themselves to a 14-day quarantine.
The top leader recently came from a visit to China according to state news agency Montsame reported on Friday.
Battulga is the first head of state to visit China since the country started implementing measures to fight the coronavirus outbreak.
The leader arrived in Beijing together with Foreign Minister Tsogtbaatar Damdin and other senior government officials on Thursday.
He had a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
Battulga went to quarantine upon arriving in Mongolia.
