Italy has recorded the largest coronavirus outbreak in Europe, so far, Reuters reported.
The government has reported three more deaths, three men in their 80s and a 62-year-old, and over 220 cases.

The northern regions of Lombardy and Veneto, the industrial and financial districts, shut down schools, universities, museums and cinemas for a week and banned public gatherings including the Venice carnival.
Italy had reported just three cases of the virus last week, all of them recently arrived from Wuhan, which is considered the epicenter of the disease.

Authorities are still perplexed though as to how the illness entered the country.
