The death toll from coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) jumped to 2007 on Wednesday as Hubei province reported 132 fatalities.
Hubei Province reported 1,693 new cases of new coronavirus on February 18.
The total number of infections in the province climbed to 61,682, with 9,128 recovered and 1,921 fatalities.
Chinese health authorities reported 9,289 patients in severe condition and another 1,957 in critical condition
The new coronavirus has infected 75,122 people mostly from mainland China.
