The sexual assault by a man to a Filipina was caught on camera while they were on a bus bound for Tagaytay City.
In a now viral video, the Filipina confronted the man for touching her breast while she was asleep.
The suspect initially denied the woman’s claims and acted as if he were on his cellphone.
“This video was taken last night, papunta na sana akong Tagaytay nung nangyari ‘to. Wala na akong katabi kasi bumaba agad yung isa at maluwag pa sa likod pero nagulat ako nung may tumabi sakin sinagi agad,” the woman said in a tweet.
She called out the man inside the bus until the conductor saw the video.
They held the man and brought him to Dasmariñas Police Station.
“Bumaba kami paglagpas ng Pala-Pala kasi may mga tanod don tapos may mobile rin so hinatid kami sa police station sa Dasma Bayan. Iyak ng iyak si **** nung nasa mobile kami, doon pinosasan na siya, sorry na siya ng sorry non habang umiiyak,” she said.
Upon verifying that man’s child is sick, the victim decided to let the man go and did not pursue any charges.
She will also testify against the man should a similar incident happen again.
