The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported around 30 earthquakes have been recorded for the past five hours since Taal Volcano spewed ash and smoke.
Areas in Batangas mostly hit by the ongoing quakes include Laurel, Talisay, Agoncillo, San Luis, Calatagan, Calaca, San Nicolas, and Talisay.
Reports of power and water outages in several areas continue as the ash fall spreads across Luzon, reaching Metro Manila with alert level 4 raised at Taal Volcano.

Rescuers mass messaged Netizen Stephanie Nicole Panganiban, whose chat messages with her friend Vheralyn Go Arante went viral on social media to help rescue the stranded residents from Talisay. Panganiban shares that rescuers are still struggling to get through the roads but are finding ways to aid the stranded residents.
Earlier, netizen Stephanie Nicole Panganiban likewise reported that citizens from Talisay need rescue as citizens continue to struggle against ongoing earthquakes and outages.
