The national brand logo that would represent the UAE and its story to the world has been revealed on Wednesday.
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Ministrer and Ruler of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, revealed the logo.
On his Twitter account, the UAE Vice President penned: “Today, my brother Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and 49 Emirati creators launched the new visual media identity for the UAE.”
His Highness added that this the logo called the “7 Lines” would serve as an identity representing “our map, our escalated ambitions, the seven emirates that are racing the world as well as the seven founders who immortalized themselves in our history.”
The website www.nationbrand.ae explains, “Seven lines rise up tall with momentum, optimism and dynamism as a tribute to the seven bold leaders who shaped the Emirates and united their people’s aspirations under one flag. Seven lines, shaping the map of the Emirates with the flag colors, represent the future-focused leaders of the seven emirates united towards the country’s growth.”
Some 10 million people not only in the UAE but across the globe cast their votes on their favorite entries.
