Manila Mayor Isko Moreno left it for destiny to decide if he would be joining the presidencial race or not.
“I’ll let destiny decide. I think the presidency is destiny,” Moreno told ABS-CBN News.
The Manila mayor added that no political party or personalites have approached him regarding the 2022 presidential elections.
Moreno said his focus now is on fulfilling his promises to the people of Manila and his mandate.
“I think I owe it to the people of Manila,” he said.
The 45-year-old mayor said the presidency is more about experience than age.
“Experience is the best teacher in life, especially in government. While education is needed, the best tool is experience,” he added.
