Authorities arrested a passenger at the Dubai International Airport over his alleged attempt to smuggle illegal drugs in the UAE.
Police found 3.5 kilograms of illegal drugs wrapped around the 31-year-old man’s body.
In a report on the Khaleej Times, it was learned that Dubai airport authorities saw an unusual bulge around the man’s waist.
Airport officials then made a body inspection of the suspect in a room and found eight packs of illegal drug.
The man was reportedly carrying Ketamine- a prohibited substance in the UAE. His case is now submitted to the court for legal proceedings.
