Abu Dhabi’s Qasr Al Watan will be closed to the public for ten days this month.
The Presidential Palace, which opened last March, will be shut down from Nov.10 to Nov. 20.
Qasr Al Watan serves as the formal offices of the President, the Vice President and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
There was a previous announcement that the palace will be closed for eight days but officials have decided to extend the dates.
The website says “This is a working government building, unexpected closures may occur.”
Ten zones of the palace were opened to the public early this year. A library filled with 50,000 books and the Great Hall were among the areas that can be accessed by the visitors.
