Dubai OFW group launches entrepreneurial skills training program

DUBAI: The Philippine Business Council (PBC) has launched a program aimed at bringing out the entrepreneur in Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs)

Running for two months at four hours every Friday for eight weekends, GenBiz aims to provide a platform to train and mentor aspiring Filipino entrepreneurs with the fundamentals of starting a viable commercial business either in the UAE or in the Philippines.

The program endeavors to introduce both essential and effective guide in entrepreneurship, held in a tutorial and workshop format conducted by Filipino entrepreneurs through integration of experience and practicability.

A Filipino-owned company will assist participants who may want to open businesses in the UAE in the registration process.
