An Asian man who steered his car away from the road in Dubai to pee had certainly not realized the one-minute stop would cost him $800,000.
Just after he finished passing water and returned to his car in an isolated area at night, two men stood in his way and prevented him from getting into the vehicle.
They then sprayed hot pepper into his eyes and pushed him down before they snatched a bag containing nearly SAR3 million ($800,000) which the Asian had placed in the back seat.
Nearly 25 days later, Dubai’s cops managed to identify the two and arrest them. The two told police they had two other accomplices and led the cops to them.
A 5th accomplice who had his share of the money is still at large and police said they had launched a manhunt for him.
Newspapers said police are questioning the thieves on how they knew the Asian had all this money in his car and whether they had shadowed him on that road.
