Immigration operatives at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) have arrested an foreigner who argued with airport officials regarding a fellow national held by authorities as per red alert notice by the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).
Immigration spokesperson Dana Sandoval said that the woman arrived in the country via Cebu Pacific flight from Dubai.
After being barred from the airport, the foreigner screamed and shouted at airport officials.
A canister was also obtained from the guy with words written on it saying ‘flash bang’.
It was later on discovered that it’s only a lighter. The foreigner is now in detention and will be subjected to inquest proceedings.
A cigarette lighter? That’s all? But kilos of drugs pass through the airport every week. Why is that? Every airport employee should have their bank accounts reviewed on a regular basis.
Very rare that filipino citizens would scream and shout at airport officials. What entitles foreigners to do these things in our own country.
