Google has sent out invitation to an event next month that would mark new innovations developed by the company, according to a report by the Agence-France Presse.
Among the items is a new Pixel smartphone, which is the company’s challenge to the recently launched Apple Inc. products.
The new phone is expected to contain new hardware and online services possibly with features that have the ability to recognize faces and gestures.
The tech giant shared that an event set to take place in New York City happening this October 15 would feature ‘things Made by Google’, which is expected to include several new programs, apps, as well as the new flagship Pixel phone.
Google has struggle to break into the smartphone market dominated by South Korea’s Samsung, Apple and Chinese handset makers.
