A foul smell from an apartment in a building in Kuwait led authorities to find the remains of a local man apparently from a drug overdose.
The watchman at the building in the capital Kuwait City phoned the police to report a bad smell coming from the flat for three days, the Arabic language daily Alanba said.
Police broke into the apartment and found a Kuwaiti, in his 30s, lying dead on the bed, the paper said.
Forensic examination showed the man had been dead for 3 days apparently from a drug overdose after police found narcotics next to the body.
