Hundreds of OFWs troop to PCG mall outreach at MOE

DUBAI: Hundreds of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) trooped to the Mall of the Enirates metro link yesterday to make transactions with the Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) in a weekend mall outreach activity meant to bring the people closer to government service.

OFWs interviewed by The Filipino Times said they were relieved that the Philippine Consulate General (PCG) organized such an event. They said it spared them the trouble of having to commute to Al Qusais in the outskirts of Dubai where PCG holds office.
