DUBAI: Representatives from three Philippine government agencies will set up a desk at the UAE Exchange outlet at the Mall of the Emirates metro link this Friday, July 26 to bring their services closer to overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), Lowella Recto, Pag-IBIG Fund Representative for Dubai and the Northern Emirates, today said.
In a press briefing at the Philippine Consulate General, Recto said the desk will be open from 11am to 3pm.
Joining Pag-IBIG are the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) and Social Security System (SSS).
OWWA Welfare Officer Danilo Flores said they will be accepting applications for OFW ecard as well as OWWA membership renewals.
The SSS will likewise be there for all OFW-related transactions.
