Kapuso actor and ‘Pambansang Bae’ Alden Richards paid a visit to Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
Photos of Richards and Moreno’s meeting were posted on the Manila Public Information Office Facebook page.
As of press time, details are still unclear on the purpose of Richards’ visit to Moreno’s office.
Moreno also started early in show business before entering the world of politics.
He was a former “That’s Entertainment star” and was mentored by the late German ‘Kuya Germs’ Moreno.
Moreno then ventured into politics until he became Manila Vice Mayor with Former President Joseph Estrada.
He ran as a Senator in 2016, but he was defeated. Moreno was later appointed to some government posts, including serving as the Undersecretary for the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
Moreno ran as Mayor in 2019 midterm elections and emerged victorious against Estrada.
In the run up towards his first month in office, Moreno has since been commended for his clean-up efforts and mission to transform the country’s capital.
