“Looking forward to starting this chapter of my life in Washington DC. The journey begins with a wonderful team,” she said on her post while tagging the Saudi Embassy in the US.
With her at the helm, Fahad Nazer, the spokesperson for Saudi embassy in Washington, said she will bring a fresh perspective on a rapidly changing Saudi Arabia while also continuing to strengthen the partnership between both countries.

The princess replaces Prince Khaled bin Salman, who is now the kingdom’s deputy defense minister.
She is the 11th Saudi diplomatic representative to Washington since 1945.
Previously, the princess lived with her father, Prince Bandar, who was an ambassador in Washington, so she has extensive experience with US politics and diplomacy.
She attended Islamic Saudi Academy in Alexandria, Virginia and finished her degree in museum studies at George Washington University.
