An Asian is facing a charge of rape before the Dubai Criminal Court after he allegedly committed the act to his 16-year-old girlfriend.
The incident happened in April when the 22-year-old accused invited the girl to an outing.
She was brought to Al Mamzar beach where the alleged rape happened inside the vehicle of the accused.
When he saw the girl bleeding, he dropped her off at her place.
He attempted to commit the act again, but this time he failed after the victim resisted. He also threatened her that he would again do it the next time.
When she returned home, the girl informed her sister about it and it was the father who reported it to the police.
