Senator-elect Ronald Bato Dela Rosa vows to push for death penalty for drug-related crimes.
Dela Rosa adds that punishment for drug related crims should be through public execution.
“‘Gawing public. ‘Yung gawing katakot takot yung ginagawa yung firing squad sa plaza covered by the media, Covered live,” Dela Rosa said in an event in Quezon City.
Dela Rosa assures the public that small time peddlers won’t be a victim of drug penalty.
Dela Rosa was a former Philippine Police Chief and the first implementor the administration’s war on drugs.
The senator-elect added that his bill restoring death penalty will be for drug lords only for the meantime.
