The Dubai Public Prosecution office referred two young Arabs to the Dubai Criminal Court yesterday, June 9, after attempting to steal items from a grocery store.
The two tried to steal food cans, chocolates, juices, and a perfume with a total value of Dh 225 and assaulted the security guard as they tried to escape.
Investigations have revealed that the people who were in front of the shop stopped the suspects before they can escape, and found out that they were under the influence of alcohol.
The two also allegedly damaged three computers owned by the shop when they committed the crime.
