Countries in the Middle East and Europe are in need of thousands of Filipino workers in various fields, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration said.
According to POEA, job opportunities in the field of medicine await Filipinos in the Middle East. Abu Dhabi in the UAE is in need of 150 emergency medical technicians while Saudi Arabia is in need of 1,000 women specialist nurses, reported GMA News.

In Europe, meanwhile, Germany needs 400 nurses while Poland needs more than 1,700 skilled and non-skilled workers.
The Philippine Association of Service Exporters, Inc. (PASEI) said that the good salary and working conditions await accepted applicants.
POEA also reminded aspiring OFWs to only deal with accredited recruitment agencies to avoid falling prey to scams.
