The price of different types of gold in the UAE dropped on Tuesday, January 22, giving buyers an opportunity to score gold at a cheaper rate.
According to Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group, the prices of different gold types in the country dropped compared to yesterday’s rate.
Today, the prices of 24K, 22K, 21K, and 18K gold are at Dh154.75, Dh145.50, Dh138.75, and Dh119, respectively.
The price of 24K and 21K gold dropped after pricing at Dh155 and Dh139 respectively yesterday. Price of 22K and 18K gold, meanwhile, remained the same from yesterday’s rate.
The decline in the price of gold comes after the continuous increase in its price over the past week.
The prices vary depending on the purity of gold and the market it is traded in.
