The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers – Abu Dhabi Chapter (PSME-Abu Dhabi) held their HVAC Leadership Conference last Friday, November 16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Abu Dhabi.
Themed: “Guiding every Filipino engineer towards higher level of excellence and global competency”, the event was an optimal venue for the engineers to keep themselves updated with the ongoing demand for sustainable solutions as well as to keep themselves abreast on information about the rising standards of HVAC in the UAE and on international waters as well. Topics included HVAC Design and Guidelines, Sustainable Design Solutions, Net Zero Energy Buildings, and HVAC International Certification and Standardization.
The event, spearheaded by PSME-UAE President Robert Peria, saw almost a hundred mechanical engineers in attendance together with their guests including their keynote speaker from the Philippines, Rodolfo Alcoriza (VPME – PSME National).
The event also conducted their oath taking for the new mechanical engineers and master plumbers who have passed the recently concluded Special Professional Licensure Exams last August.
