The OFW Global Movement for Association and Cooperation (OFWGMAC), Samahan ng mga OFW sa UAE (SOUAE), Isabelino Ako (IA) and Da Buzzy Circle of Friends organized a blood donation drive for the Abu Dhabi Blood Bank in Khalidiyah in Abu Dhabi last October 25.
The four organizations managed to round up almost a hundred volunteers people, 71 of which were qualified on the day.
Themed “Life is in Blood: Donate Blood, Save Life”, the organizations got a total of 71 bags of blood within a four hour period.
