The winter season is fast approaching in the UAE with some areas reporting temperature as low as 16 degrees on Monday, October 22.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), the coldest weather in the UAE today was reported in the Jais Mountain area (16.5 degrees).
Other areas that reported cold temperatures ranging from 19 to 21 degrees include Mebreh Mountain (19.2 degrees), Rakhah (20.3 degrees), Damtha (20.9 degrees), and Al Shuaibah (21.4 degrees).

The weather for today will be fair to cloudy at times, especially during the afternoon. Several areas will also experience light to moderate winds.
Although, residents can now feel slight changes in the weather, they will have to wait for December till of the official winter season begins.
