The Social Security System in the Philippines has announced that they will be extending their Loan Restructuring Program until April 1, 2019. This will give more than enough ample time for those who have loan delinquencies to pay their dues without having to pay for any fines that their loans have incurred from the past months or years.
In a Facebook video, SSS President and CEO Emmanuel Dooc himself announced the good news that provides an opportunity for SSS members to pay their outstanding loan balances without penalties. “Malugod ko pong ibinabalita sa inyo na ang komisyon ng SSS ay nag pasya na i-extend ang pagkakaloob ng Loan Restructuring Program sa inyo. Ito po ay inilunsad ng SSS upang matulungan namin ang mga kasapi ng SSS na may loan delinquency. Ito po ay magpapagaan sa pagbabayad niyo ng mga utang, na walang penalty.”
Dooc furthers that members can approach any branch of SSS to apply for the LRP: “Kaya tinatawagan ko po ang lahat ng mga kinuukulan, samantalahin ninyo ito. Ito po ay pinahaba ng ating komisyon upang makapag-abot kami ng tulong sa inyong lahat. Higit lalo sa panahong ito na napakataas ng mga bilihin. Kayo po ay pumunta sa alin man sa aming branches upang kayo ay matulungan na makapag-apply sa Loan Restructuring Program na aming inextend hanggang April 1, 2019.”
