His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, once again made waves on social media after rescuing a tangled onyx in Dubai.
In a video posted on Instagram, Sheikh Hamdan is seen riding a mini truck while chasing after an onyx with a net-like object tangled around its face and horns in a sanctuary in Dubai.
Using a dart gun, Sheikh Hamdan was able to sedate the onyx. Sheikh Hamdan and the team then successfully cut and removed the net tangled around the onyx to help the animal breathe.
Before leaving the onyx behind, Sheikh Hamdan also splashed water to the body of the animal to help it cool down.
By the end of the video, the onyx is seen returning to its herd.
“All good to go for this Oryx! Mission accomplished,” the Crown Prince said on Instagram.
