The video of a man proposing marriage to his girlfriend went viral on social media because of an error in spelling and his scheme with the local officials play a little prank in the gesture,
In a video uploaded by the page of Barangay Caloocan BPSO (Barangay Peace and Security Officer), a man is seen handcuffed and on his knees while his girlfriend is frantic and trying to look for people to contact in her phone.
She later cries while her friends ask her to calm down. The BPSO reads the warrant to them and gives her a copy. It was then that she saw her boyfriend’s marriage proposal and she fell into a sitting position in disbelief and relief.
Meanwhile, netizens are amused at the creativity of the boyfriend and the misspelled word in the proposal.
“Wrong spelling pero so kilig,” remarked one Facebook user.
“Nanghina s’ya dahil mali yong spelling ng marry,” suggested another,
“In fairness, kakaiba yung proposal. Nag-iba din yung spelling ng marry pero okay lang. Best wishes sa inyo,” read one comment.
However, the misspelled proposal did not stop the girlfriend from accepting his offer. The video has been viewed over two million times and shared over 28 thousand times as of press time.
