The Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) has opened North Park, a new public park situated near the Cedre Villas project, offering visitors a place to relax and bond with family and friends.
The 35,000 square meter-park offers different amenities for different activities such as water fountains, a kids’ play area with a separate section for toddlers, sports facilities, food and beverage options, and a parking lot for 91 cars, reported WAM.
The park is also fitted with smart benches that are 100 percent solar powered, and lighting systems that work using motion detection technologies. Moreover, the park is also designed with walking paths that feature smooth and even surfaces for strollers and wheelchairs.

The opening of the park aligns with the DSOA’s desirable society pillar as part of its 2021 Strategy. DSOA said the park aims to enhance the overall resident experience and foster community spirit.
North Park is open from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. from Sunday to Thursday, and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. on weekends and public holidays
