Over 500 horses will fly onboard Emirates SkyCargo from Europe to the United States for the FEI World Equestrian Games Tyron 2018.
In a tweet, Emirates Airlines said that they have transported 67 horses for the first batch and called it the “biggest equine airlift ever undertaken in history.”

Nineteen Boeing 777 Freighter flights will be used to transport the horses accompanied by handlers and treated to onboard care and snacks.
The plane’s pilot, Captain Pacheco Esteban, said that the airlines ensured the welfare of the precious cargo on board.
“From a technical point of view, there isn’t any significant changes. However, during the flight, there will be additional personnel to look after the horses,” he said.
