The daughter of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, H.H. Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Rashid is engaged to Sheikh Khaled bin Hamdan Al Nahyan.
In an Instagram post, H.H. Sheikha Lhatifa Mohammed Rashid Al Maktoum, the elder sister of Sheikha Maryam, congratulated the couple.
“May the rest of your lives be filled with love, joy & happiness. Congratulations!” captioned H.H. Sheikha Lhatifa.
H.H. Sheikha Maryam is a graduate of prestigious British Royal Academy Sandhurst in the United Kingdom.
Meanwhile, residents are also excited about the engagement.
“May your life be filled with great happiness and love,” wrote one comment.
“Wishing you both happiness, good health, and safety. Long live to our beloved rulers of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the rest of UAE,” said another.
The royal couple got engaged on August 24 but it was not disclosed if the royal wedding has a set date.
