A 30-year-old Filipina cashier in Dubai filed a complaint against her Tunisian colleague for allegedly flashing his genitals at her and forcing her to watch a pornographic video.
The public prosecution records state that the defendant, a 34-year-old chef, was outside the restaurant when the incident happened, reported Khaleej Times.
The complainant said that she was working at the restaurant past midnight of April 18 when the Tunisian chef asked her to follow him at the parking lot and bring him a drink.
The Filipina refused at first saying she was busy. When she was about to hand him the drink, the chef suddenly exposed himself to her and tried to make her watch an indecent video on his phone.
She yelled at the chef telling him to stop but the latter grabbed her hand trying to show her the clip.
Afterwards, the Filipina returned inside the restaurant and told her supervisor about the incident. Then she filed a complaint at the Al Rashidiya Police Station.
Authorities confiscated the defendant’s phone and they found countless lewd photos and videos stored in it.
The court ruling will be issued on September 30.
