An overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Saudi Arabia is seeking for help to retrieve cash and items amounting to Php3-million from his girlfriend who is having an affair with her driving instructor.
In an episode of ‘Raffy Tulfo in Action,’ OFW Glendo Dumanacal recalled his unfortunate love story with his girlfriend Connie, who is also an OFW in Saudi.
Dumanacal said he bought a car for Connie when she decided to quit from her job in Saudi and return to the Philippines. Dumanacal also financially supported Connie and her two children from her previous lover while she was out of job.
“Pareho kaming OFW, and then pag-uwi niya dito, nag-usap kami na bibili siya ng sasakyan para may magamit siyang service,” Dumanacal said.
While looking for a driving instructor, Connie was referred to a guy named Melecio Casino by her own sister.
Connie and Casino eventually had a relationship, unbeknownst to Dumanacal who continuously sends money to Connie and her children.
“Ngayon ang nangyari ay yang Melecio Casino, yan ang nag turo sa kanya ng pagda-drive. Yun daw ang nirecommend ng sister ni Connie na mag turo mag drive. Wala akong ka alam-alam sir na yun pala pati na si Connie dina-drive,” Dumanacal said.
Dumanacal sent money to Connie for seven years until 2014. He used to send a minimum of Php23,000 monthly. In those years, the total cash and gifts he had sent to Connie amounted to Php3-million.
Unfortunately for Dumanacal, the car is registered under Connie’s father. He also does not have a proof of the monthly remittances he sent to Connie from 2007 to 2014 making the retrieval of his Php3-million given to Connie a hard case to prove in court.
Connie, who is now back in Saudi, refused to give a comment on the issue.
