A Filipina and her three children were referred to the Criminal Investigations Department in Kuwait following the death of her ‘live-in partner’.
Director- General of the Hawally Security Directorate Abdeen Al-Abdeen ordered the arrest of the Filipina after a Syrian reported the death of his nephew, who was living with the Filipina, to the Salwa Police Station, reported Arab Times.
The Syrian referred to the Filipina as his nephew’s wife. However, it was discovered that the two were only living together and did not have a marriage contract upon investigation.
The couple had been living together for seven years.
The Filipina’s residence permit expired in 2011.
