The valedictorian of the Philippine Military Academy’s (PMA) Class of 2018 went straight to church to marry his longtime girlfriend after his graduation.
Cadet First Class Jaywardene Galilea Hontoria, who topped 282 mistahs of the “Alab Tala” Class of 2018, and his college sweetheart Loura fe Dillera, exchanged their “I do’s” inside the PMA campus in Baguio City.
Earlier that day, Hontoria received a new house located at his hometown in Iloilo City.
The certificate of ownership was signed by former senator and real estate giant, Manny Villar.
Aside from being the class valedictorian, Hontoria also received several awards, including the Presidential Saber, Chief of Staff of Saber, Philippine Navy Saber, academic group award, Australian Defense Best Overall Performance Award, Spanish Armed Forces Award, Humanities Plaque, Natural Sciences Plaque, Social Sciences Plaque, JUSMAG award, and the Department of Leadership Plaque.
Hontoria is set to serve the Navy.
